9X12 white or colored paper
Chalk pastels
Scrap printed paper or fabric
Markers
1. Instruct students to draw three half circle shapes, (papa, mama and baby bear sized...this actually helps!) or, provide templates.
2. Color birds with markers
3. Draw legs, eyes, beaks and tails.(very simple shapes)
4. Cut paper or fabric into wing shapes. Offer a variety to choose from. Students choose three and glue on.
5. Color in background with chalk, using fingertips to blend.
